Ultra-light aircraft class.
A midge has a dual fishtail, two hydrogen-2 (deuterium) fuelled engines driving propellers, and retractable wings. When extended, the wings act as a reservoir for the fuel, which can be adjusted to alter the aerofoil configuration. The upper surface of the wings includes solar panels to supplement the fuel cells.
With the tails folded in and the wings fully retracted, a Midge is easily stowable for transport in a shuttle.
