K'ang Chinese Empire: The K’ang struggled to even gather taxes enough to pay for a paltry regiment of troops to defend the walls of old Amgar. Things did not look good for Prince Tan and he spent his days closeted in the old customs house in the port, drinking heavily. After the fall of their capital and the death or capture of their princes, the provinces of Jilin, Wusuli, Sungari, Helionkang and Higgan became independent.
