NOTES:
| 169 - 173 GE (22): | In other news, the army and navy of Carnot stood on high alert, waiting to taste some action. The word of Tarq was spread in the regions of Luisa and Szelo. |
| 164 - 168 GE (21): | Commotion and sounds of battle intruded the dreams of the leader and forces his mind to awake and focus on the events around him. In a calm moment the leader entered onto the deck and spent a minute attempting to settle down those around him to learn what was transpiring. “We are under attack.” This was a response yelled by many, not familiar with battle and thus compensating for terror. “If we are under attack, where is the attack?” No one could answer. Message was sent from ship to ship to halt the magical assault on the Aragon troops. “We are a treaty with this nation. We honor our treaty.” With these words still clinging to the air, leader turned the ships around and headed back towards Carnot. He knew one thing, the Carnot troops were not yet combat ready. |
| 159 - 163 GE (20): | The Blood Prophet rushed into the court of the Blood Poet and cried out, "The Anhk is Coming, The Anhk is Coming!!!!!" He then collapsed on the floor and died on the spot. The Blood Poet was concerned, but thought that the Siydul units of the Church would protect his nation. He proclaimed, "Let them come!!! The Roses need to be watered anyway!!" And so the Sacrifice Gatherers continued to gather sacrifices. They transported some slaves to the nation of Malnik to assist the small nation with its economy. Later the prophecy ould come true as Khatain troops landed in Vyborg. It was quite strange as all they seemed to do was leave an 8 foot tall Anhk behind. |
| 154 - 158 GE (19): | Massive internal improvements continue using the funds of the Church as well as the national treasury. The cities of Blaut and Tarqanium have both been expanded and a new city of Flesh Point was built in Vyborg. Prince Du'med Sp'rader went to the Tarq region of Yuyu and had success in creating an economic alliance with the locals there. While in the region a raiding party arived from Sonlar and a battle ensued between the raiders and the local militia headed by Du'med Sp'rader. The locals were quickly defeated and the Prince was injured in the battle. Locals say that he was captured by the Sonlar raiders. The Carnot navy was put on high alert and some passers by state they saw a strange magical glow coming from the warships but this could not be confirmed because no ship dared get too close to the navy which appeared to be on a search and destroy mission. |
| 149 - 153 GE (18): | At long last Tarq has blessed the city of Blaut with his presence. The Primacy has established Blaut as the UnHoly city of Tarq, completingthe prophecy of old, and allowing the future of Tarq to be bright with the soaked color of blood. All who enter Tarq, marvel at the transformation over the years, how could a culture which decrees the gathering of Blood a crucial part of its society, create a city so beautiful to behold. Anyone who was anyone, attended the ceremony which rang in the new age as Blaut became the Unholy City of Tarq. All watched as the first sacrifices were made to Tarq..the first drops of blood were spilt upon and soaked up by the pillars of Tarq. All could feel the approval of Tarq as he watched down, hungrily awaiting more blood to fill the pillars. Karn'age was busy in Tavoy, further establishing the reign which will provide the blood and sacrifices for Tarq. From Tavoy he sent a courier. The courier was presented to the primate of Tarq and the eldest daughter right before the wedding was complete between the primate and Karn'age's daughter. All watched as the currier was tied before the alter. The message was read 'Let this union signify the birth of blood to be spilt upon this ground. Let the Age of Tarq begin.' The skies turn red as the blood flowed down the alters, into the mouth of Tarq. |
| 144 - 148 GE (17): | Nothing much happened in Carnot. A scribes guild was built and many new investments were made. The leaders all stayed home and either spent time with their wives or studied magic. The city of Blaut was expanded in order to make room for the new Tarq Holy city that is planned. Right now there is only a monastery there. The port city of Blood Cove was built in Hazum. |
| 134 - 138 GE (15): | Blood Poet Saint Karn'age saw to the affairs of his nation. The city of Blaut was enlarged and many new public works were built. Better ties were also gained with the island of Tavoy. |
| 129 - 133 GE (14): | The Blood Poet Saint Karn'age decided to beautify the island of Carnot, so a vast number of public works were built. Not a cent was spared in the effort as many new irrigation ditches were dug and a beautiful new public bath was built. Once that was completed, he moved on to Tavoy and talked with the fellow Tarq there. He brought the heir Draxenburg with him, but unfortunately he died before the talks were over. The end result was an economic alliance with the island of Tavoy. |
| 124 - 128 GE (13): | After a long period of inactivity, Blood Marshal Alstair passed away. Blood Poet Saint Karn'age took over the running of the nation. He took all of the gold that had been saved for his father's funeral and returned it to the people in the form of many improvements the the region of Carnot. Happy with what he had just done he went home to his wife and spent many years in bed. There were a total of six children born to the fertile couple. His older brother Eric Draxenburg was declared the new Heir to the throne. |
| 114 - 118 GE (11): | Open Nation |
| 109 - 113 GE (10): | open nation |
| 104 - 108 GE (9): | open nation |
| 99 - 103 GE (8): | The Blood Marshal spent his time going over the tax statements. He built many fine irrigation ditches in Carnot. There was a large party in 237 when he announced the birth of his son. He also produced two daughters and buried two consorts. Crimson Blood Drinker Blynder and DumJon De'mon travelled to Tavoy. They had this idea that maybe the Red Church would be willing to give up all its land holdings and maintain only its religious sites. The Grand Shaman thought that was a bad idea. On the return voyage DumJon De'mon got seasick and fell overboard and died. |
| 94 - 98 GE (7): | The main focus of the five years was to fully integrate Vyborg into the nation. Carnot was improved A young man cam rushing into the Blood Marshal's audience chambers. " We have the secret of magic. Watch this. " Then he proceed to make motions and whisper magical incarnations while mixing powders. Then in a puff of smoke he died. " Well, maybe not just yet" |
| 89 - 93 GE (6): | The government of Carnot required the Blood Marshal's full attention. He sent Blynder, Prince of the seven hues of Red, along with Dumjon De'mon, Fang Searcher and Red-Robed Seeker to secure the region of Vyborg. The army was increased by the addition of the Red Wizards unit. |
| 84 - 88 GE (5): | The people of Carnot could not deny the strong words of the Grand Shaman. They rose up and killed the Blood Marshal Logan. Along with anyone else who could in any way be considered associated with the royal family and their activities of the past few years. |
| 79 - 83 GE (4): | Blood Marshal Logan knew that his duty lie in running the government of his nation, so he stayed at home and did just that. After conducting a census Darnok convinced the people of Doraat to distance themselves from the Red Church. A mages guild was built near the bank. |
| 74 - 78 GE (3): | Blood Marshal Logan will send a messenger to his former Lt. Raf De'mon in Lusia-glad his former friend has obtained a position of power, but why would he wish to be at war with the Sacrifice Gatherers of Tarq? We mean him no harm. He then focused the entire energies of his nation on diplomacizing Hazum. |
| 69 - 73 GE (2): | Blood Marshal Logan buils a bank in the capitol city of Blaut. Rafael De'mon, Fang Searcher and Red Robed Seeker, a trusted companion of Logan waws sent to the region of Lusia. Upon arriving he ecxplored the region to discover that the citizens of the land were human pagans. Undaunted by this he decided to attempt to convince them to join Blood Mashal Logan. Instead they convinced Rafeal to join them against his former friend. Rafeal now rules the land of Lusia. Meanwhile, all the other leaders of the nation travel to the region of Hazum. Logan's primary mission is to convince the ruler of Haxum to join Carnot and become a part of the Sacrifice Gatherers of Tarq. An Excerpt from his speech: "Friends, it is with great joy and tidings of future prosperity that brings me to the island jewel of Hazum. I represent the people of Carnot, as their king, as well as the greater union of the SG of T, as their Blood Marshall. As followers of Tarq it is essential that we unite and stand firm against all who wish to vanquish or change us of our religious practices. Also our island status as nations must be considered. A strong navy is vital to insure prosperity......We share the same religion, it is time we spilled the same blood in worship of our god. My beloved primate, built a town here, he has even claimed this region as his own. I respect his views, I respect what he is doing, but he does not understnad the ways of the south islands, such as we. I have brought my entire diplomatic team, in an attept to demonstrate to you how vital Hazum is to me.....Tarq demands blood. We will never spill the blood of someone who worships Tarq, unless so ordered by Tarq. A sacrifice is a sacrifice all that matters is that the blood goes to Tarq. I would give my life for Tarq if he asks of it, so would anyone in the leadership of the SG of T. Our primary purpose is to unite his people. Join us and you will see religion in practice, join the primate and you will see religion in theory. You will see the staleness of dust and cobwebs. I offe r you protection for your families and your friends. I offer you a future. If you decline my offer, then your wishes shall be respected, and we shall offer aid to you when you need it. We eill never turn our back on a follower of Tarq. This is the will of Tarq. Tarq has ordainded our diplomacy, any illwill towards the SG of T would be an insult to Tarq himself." They bought it. |
| 64 - 68 GE (1): | Logan increases his capitol of Blaut and builds two port cities. Brynthia in Iranga, and Morgan in Panzi. In a surprise move, this island nation builds a navy. |
