Oboysin Magnificence

Wiliburan – Khan of the North.

Diplomacy            Biyisk (c), Saraba (nt), Palavoi (h)

        Starting off like so many other nations since the fall, the Oboysin began by sending both leaders and royalty out to the surrounding areas and trying to convince them to join the nation. One region, the Palavoists, felt disgusted by the prince and kicked them out of the region promptly.

 

Xi-Xia

Weiming Qianshun – Spirit of the Horse.

Diplomacy            Lob Nor (nt), Suzhou (nt)

        After coming from the shelters of a long nuclear winter, the King and his Heir tried to talk some of the other local areas into coming out as well and joining them. Both the king and his heir had good fortunes as they both found wives and extended their national boundaries.

 

The Sung

Chao Gui – Son of the Tiger.

        After king left to talk to the regions surrounding the homeland, only 1 had enough time to decide on an outcome for joining the empire. The other two, while interested in talks, were cut off early as Chao Gui had other matters to attend to.

        The Khemer celebrated the emergence from the bunkers by building many fabulous waterways. A census was begun, as the nation was small, so that newcomers and citizens could be properly kept track of and taxed.

New Bangladesh

Abbas I – Protector.

Diplomacy            Gtsang (c), Maghada (-)

        Taking advantage of his neighbors’ absence, Abbas sent Hafiz, his lieutenant, out to diplomacize a couple of regions. Gtsang, while not entirely impressed, decided to begin to give some loyalty to the nation.

Kok-Hotan – Keeper of the Old Ways.

        The king, after sending people out to get an accurate head count of all the people in the nation, went out to try and convince the province of Singanakh that they needed his empire in order to prosper. They, however, didn’t feel the same. Kok-Hotan’s heir, Teuch, had better luck, convincing the descendants in Balkash to join at Tributary status.

The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything

King Nebby K. Nezzer – Keeper of the Chocolate Bunny.

Diplomacy            Thebes (t), Aswan (nt)

         Nebby, King of Egypt, ordered the beginning of the annual census. This census was designed to keep the population of the nation in order. He then went on to begin the further cultivation of Egypt. Nebby has grand ideas for the beginning of his nation. Many he hopes will bear fruit and help the nation grow. Trade was another big hit as the local merchants began shipping lines with some of the surrounding regions.

 

The Athenian Republic

Xenophon, Caesar of Athens.

Diplomacy            None

        Mainly keeping to himself, Caesar Xenophon stayed mainly in the homeland to begin his new family and to establish the royal line. He too began a census that would help pull in more taxes from the surrounding lands. The first years out of the shelters were plentiful.

 

Mesopotamia

        After living so long underground, when the time arrived, the king ordered that people instantly begin to branch out. In doing so, new regions were acquired. The nation steadily grew as the people became accustomed to the world.

Murcia

Juan – King of Spain.

        Rather than expanding, King Juan directed his attention to building the new Capitol, Cordoba. Along with this, he stayed at home to administer the locals and even bore a daughter. His heir, Petro, bore a son as well.

 

Sardina

        Defense was the name of the game for Sardina. Before the great fall, barriers and walls were used to defend important strongholds. Sardina didn’t want their important capitol to fall so they too built walls. A diplomat, the Kings only heir, was sent to Siciliy in hopes of offering them protection and have them join the empire, however, they had different thoughts and wished to remain independent.

 

The Insolent Kurs

        Insolence is the name of the game when it comes to the Kurs. Diplomats were sent every which way as they convinced the surrounding populace to join them. Many new regions were added and the king was thrilled. After sending all the diplomats out there wasn’t much the king could do so he remained at home to govern the nation.

 

Kingdom of Poland

Krzysztof – Tzar of Poland.

        Since the fall, many nations began as slave traders. They easily pushed aside all land around them and took slaves as they needed. Poland, however, began the same but quickly began to change the minds of the populace to that of the agrarian life. To help keep track of the beginning farmers a census was begun. It was at this same time the nation used the local river system as a means of trade, reaching many of the Scandinavian regions with its waterways.

 

Kingdom of Holstein

King Wilhelm.

        With the largest amount of control on the regions just south of scandanavia, King Wilhelm sent a diplomat out to Holland where he talked with the locals until they offered an ally status with the growing nation. As all nations do at one point in time, a census was also started to keep track of the number of immigrants and citizens the nation could tax.

 

Kingdom of Avalon

King Arthur – Wielder of the Sword.

Diplomacy            Cornwall (t), Brabant (ea)

        Avalon began its new life with the building of the city of Glastonbury in the region of Wessex. Defenses were also built in the homeland. Raiders could come from anywhere and the king would not stand for a lack of security. Censuses were conducted in all regions and diplomats were sent out. Mordred, the kings heir, went out to Cornwall, while Lancelot went to Brabant. Both regions fell under some control of the Avalonians. Trade was begun within the surrounding nations.

 

Kingdom of Scotland

King Conner - Clanleader.

Diplomacy            Hebrides (c), Highlands (fa), Mon (nt)

        With great ideas in mind, the Scots turn their eyes to the islands. Sending out many diplomats they gain control of new lands. With those new lands came new rules, a census, all must report how many live within the houses so that appropriate taxes could be formed.

 

Norseland

        Being up in the previously frozen north, the norseland people didn’t have much they could do. After Building a city, Kyleia, in Smaland they had just enough time to go home to be with their wives. The King had a small boy and his heir, Sven, had 3 boys and a girl. The rolay line would soon be as confused as ever as the 3 boys only differed in age.
