The Game itself.
The Campaign number.
The current turn.
The years encompassed by the current turn.

Section Three: Geozone

This section is the Geozone information. Primarily it separates the World into different zones. The Newsfax entry for your nation will fall under the Geozone in which your capital city is located. Mercenaries that may be hired by Nations are also listed here and these 'Merc Pools' are tracked separately for each Geozone.

The first object is a thumbnail image of the Geozone. You may click on the thumbnail to bring up a full-sized map of the Geozone. This will help you determine whether or not a given city falls within the Geozone.

Next is the full title of the specific Geozone.

Next are the Mercenary pools for the Geozone. These are split into two columns. Lords 28 is using a nontraditional form of Mercenary hiring. Rather than the standard ability to instantly acquire Mercenaries with a bid in a specific turn, contracts are not fulfilled until the the following turn. The example above was taken from Turn 025.

Bosnia placed a bid for Mercenaries inside Her orders for Turn 025. The acceptance of the bid is listed in the Newsfax results here in the second column (Hired Contracts for Turn 026). This section will indicate What nation was successful in acquiring a contract (Bosnia); how many mercenaries were acquired with the contract (14mi, 9mc, 4ma, 4ms); and what city or Region the Mercenaries will begin the turn in (Belgrade). A nation may only bid on mercenaries of similar religion, and may only bid on a given set of mercenaries if they control a city within that Geozone.

The first column lists the number and type of mercenaries available for the next set of contracts (In this case for turn 027). Players may bid on these mercenaries with their next set of orders (Orders for Turn 026 in this case).

Section Four: Nation Entries

The first part of each national entry will detail specific notes about the nation in question.

The Name of the Nation
The capital city of the Nation.
The National Religion; Tech Level; and Nation Culture.
Any Colonies held by the nation (And what type)
Any Claims made by the Nation on uncontrolled locations. The value in brackets [] indicates on what map the location is according to the Global Map Grid. A bold entry indicates that the location in question recognizes the Nation's claim. Locations which are claimed by more than one Nation (contested) are underlined.

Next comes a listing of any gains or losses of control over locations the Nation manages. The particular status change of the location is indicated in brackets [].

Finally comes the actual Newsfax entry for the Nation. A textual description of important or noteworthy happenings in the Nation.

Occasionally an event will affect many nations at once, and so it will be separated with it's own title and detailed. Wars, Religious Councils and the like will commonly be the cause.
