Innocent and few other Bishops attempt to rebuild the Holy City Site in Rome. They are almost immediately set upon by Baptist agents attempting to disrupt the efforts. Papal assassins, however, had been warned of this possibility, and swiftly move in killing both Baptist Leaders involved in the effort. One of the agents turns out to be one of the Pope's own Bishops, apparently subverted from the cause. With the Baptist agents taken care of, construction continues with the site, only to see Innocent weaken and die of age. Without his guiding hand, the Cathedral degrades to a Monastery. Site construction in France goes very poorly, sites disappearing out from under the Bishop in Charge. Another Bishop in Awlil returns to Rome in disgust after his Diplomatic Conversion fails. In Spain, the Bishop is outright killed by heretical fanatics. The College of Cardinals meets to elect a new Pope, doing so just before the arrival of the Synod results. Finally, Baptist agents manage to steal a bit of the Papal treasury.

The War of the Boy
Kings
( Holy Roman Empire vs. Bosnia )
Peace was the order of the day, only apparently someone forgot to tell the Germans. When the Mameluke and Ottoman armies are seen withdrawing from Bosnia, the Holy roman leaders know the time to strike is upon them. Leading 7,000 Cavalry, 13,000 Infantry, 20 Siege Companies and 40 Artillery batteries, they attack into Bosnia. They are met by the Prophet Bartok himself, with two other leaders. The field 4,000 Cavalry, 2,000 Infantry, 10 Artillery Batteries and 40 Field Fortifications. The Germans have the advantage in all aspects of the combat, and the forts are quickly destroyed, the Bosnians withdrawing back into Belgrade. The Germans continue the attack, leaving roughly 10% of their men dead on the field. The Siege of Belgrade goes very poorly for the Prophet. The city falls, and his army is hunted down in the streets by the German host. The remnants of the command flee into the mountains of Serbia.

New Spain, a continent about the size of Europe from France to Poland containing a very large salt water lake, the Starsea in its interior is largely settled by the Atlanteans, a blue skinned people who are very protective of their lands. There are numerous smaller bands of native peoples, as well as lands settled by the French, Portuguese and Florence. New Spain is found to the Northwest of Hell’s Island and to the west of the other large island of Morganland. New Portugal, a newly discovered land is found further to the west from New Spain, while New Florence is found to the south of Hell’s Island. Pedro said that even now further exploration was taking place of New Portugal and New Florence, and predicted that a route to the India would soon be found to the west. |
