General Information: (***= New)

Welcome to L27, I am your GM for this chaotic world of the dark ages; my name is Chet S. My Lords GM address is: Lords27gm@throneworld.com for orders and L27 stuff, and my L27 paypal address is: lords27gm/at/throneworld/dot/com

***TURN FEE: Starting in T50 is back to $6.00 donation, and there is also a $6.00 donation for a startup fee for new players. Also I do not accept any personal checks as my bank charges me a $20 fee for any bounced checks that I deposit...(Cash, money orders & certified checks are ok.)

***TURN BALANCE:  Any nation that reaches a NEGATIVE BALANCE without making an arrangement with me will not be processed, and not sending orders in for three turns in a row (with or without payments and without a good reason), will force me open your country to a new player who has the time and money...

SWITCHING NATIONS: I have policy of no switching nations if your balance is in the red, until that negative balance is paid and you must also pay for one turn ahead so you're in the black.

***NEW ORDER FORM for T50 and beyond(with no Sorcery QR):  Please use new orders form it has a Multi-Colored Section in the middle of it, otherwise you are using the wrong sheet and need to download a new one from the file section of this site or at the L27 home site at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Lords-27/files/L27_Excel_orders_template.xls If you do not have Microsoft Excel, there is a free version of Office called OpenOffice that will open, edit and save Excel file at: http://www.openoffice.org/

E-MAIL ADDRESS & TURN NUMBER:  Make sure your e-mail address is right in your orders, that is the address the program will send your stat sheet to... and that it has the right turn number too!

***Send me your orders in this ORDER NAME FORMAT:=L27_T50_NationName.xls

PROJECTS: Do not put new or old projects in the builds section of the Order form; they only go in the new or existing projects section (with ID number), and do not delete any part of the order form that you are not using, just leave the unused sections blank and do not add any page-breaks either, or write outsides the borders (your personal notes doubles the pages).

TROOP BUILDS: If your leader is in the region already or will be in that region to pick up your newly built troops, don't build troops for the garrison and then have him pick them up, just build troops for him (NOTE: he still has to go and pick them up).

MERCENARIES: Remember that you MUST specify a city where you are hiring the Mercs. Failure to do this will result in no Mercs and the money being lost. Also, mercenaries may not be hired for more than one turn at a time. PLEASE put where you are hiring any mercenaries AND how many you are trying to hire AND how much you are willing to pay per point of troops in your builds section on the order form. PLEASE put this information in the notes section at the end of your builds. Otherwise you will not get the mercenaries and the GPs bid on them will be lost. ALSO Mercs must stay with a Merc leader that comes with them (M543) and goes in their own army section.

CITIES & FORTRESSES: For expanding cities please put the name of the city in location, not the region it is in. Also for WP for fortress always put the region in for Location and for WP for cities always put in the city name for location. Last but not least in the item column in the build section do NOT write out fully what your building please use the codes, for example: your building 10 elite infantry, do NOT write "Build 10 elite infantry", instead write 10ei and do that for all units and also put no space between 10 and ei (the lords program reads it this way.). Also please use abbreviations in the rules for Intel commands (CI for counter intelligence, etc)

***CLAIMED & SHARED REGIONS & CITIES:  These regions and cities that are claimed will be noted by a dot in your color, not a full color shading of the region, shared regions have both of the colors of the sharing countries.

HEIRS AND PRINCES:  Unless stated otherwise in your orders, when a King's male child comes of age he is promoted to Heir (if he has none, then grandson, then any male child in royal family). Likewise when any male child comes of age he is promoted to Prince if there is an opening and I don't forget to check.

PWBs:  Please let me know if PWB are for a city or a region by putting a "c" or "r" in fount of it like this: 10rPWB.

LEADER NAMES: From now on if your leader has NO name he or she gets NO action...

***LEADER (& ARMY) ACTIONS & MOVEMENT: You must state their actions and their AP cost, and their movements (all the regions traveled through) and movement AP cost, you cannot say go to a region and vanquish my enemy. You can say follow another leader's orders, but the other leaders order's must be spelled out!!! (Otherwise any vague orders will not be done, as I don't have the time to do it for you.) Note: It costs leaders and armies an extra ap to cross an uncontrolled border, if you don't put it in than I will penalize you 2ap.

***NEWSFAX BLURB:  If you have the time, it would help me write the newsfax if you write a sentence or two or even a paragraph, and/or a summery on what your country and its leaders are trying to accomplish during the turn...Please put newsfax Blurb in your orders, not in the e-mail as I print out your orders, I do not print your e-mail it was attached to.

MAX TAX:  is 1.5 in T49 and beyond, as the world gets darker and resources become scarcer.

SHIPS:  Must end the turn in a port, if not in a port they lose 10% the first turn, 20% the second turn, 30% the third turn, etc (also you should have two leaders with a fleet so you don't lose part of it if the leader dies)...

HC (Have Children): can only be combined with RULE and ADMINISTER in L27, otherwise it's a separate action for your leader.

FLAGS: BTW I could use some more flags as over half of you don't have one... (No flag, no country, just joking...lol)

MAX FIELD FORTS PER REGION:  Field Fort units may be built in any controlled region. Field Forts built in Allied, Economic Allied, Feudal Allied, Tributary or Non-Paying Tributary region belong to the region, not to the `national' government (but can be used as `national' garrisons and still require support costs to be paid, where applicable). The maximum number of Field Forts that can be built by a position in a region is limited to:

(GPv of the region +1) x (Siege QR/2) x Control Status Tax Multiple (Note in L27, if result is zero, then a region can have a max of 1 field fort, as long as you control it)

Fractional forts round up to 1. Zero forts remain zero. The presence of a Field Fort in a region adds a +1 Movement Modifier to any enemy moving through the region.

NOTE: Any region with over the Max in Field forts, the extra Field forts was converted to Infantry.

RUTTERS TRANSFERRED: You need to list all the rutters that you are transferring in your notes section of your orders in order for them to be transferred (so I can copy and paste), or none will be transferred.

MAXIMUM STATUS FOR A REGION: I will enforcing the max status for a region by religion and by terrain located in tables 2-21 and 2-22 on page 22 in rule book 5.10 starting T50, please let me know in your orders if any region's status needs to be fixed.

THIN GOVERNMENT: If your nation is suffering from thin government, all regions and cities that are not at friendly status will have a revolt check starting T50...

NAVIGABLE RIVERS: Rivers with hash marks are non-navigable in the hash marked area except for trade (routes, and internal & fishing fleets), canals and unmarked parts of rivers are navigable by any size ship...

****HEAVY TRANSPORTS (or any Transports): If transports built in build section are to be used for MSP, please put 10HT MSP in the build column, thanks.

God-Emperor Tatshushi demanded that Korea be retaken and the Empires army marched south along the coast from Amgu. Elsewhere within the Empire a minor earthquake destroyed the small city of Koryo.

The Japan-China War [727- ?]

Nippon took Korea back, but then the Black Dragon stirred and took Korea in return (Nippon lost 40,000 troops but half were Mercs), while the crafty Buddhist army cut off Nippon's retreat. Afterwards the same Buddhist army looted and preformed regional genocide on the Nippon regions of Mantap and Suifenhe. At the same time the Pirates took gold from Nippon to protect a sea zone off the Nippon coast from the Chinese, but then turned about-face and collected a bigger shipment of gold from the Chinese to raid Nippon...

Grandmaster Manu died in 748, Chewi became next GM.

Grandmaster Manu died in a Buddhist prison at age 75 on the day of the Order's centennial, he was one of the Samurai's greatest warriors and it was sad to see him reduced to nothing but skin and bone. Meanwhile Kwanto was freed from his cell. Surprising the Samurai did nothing to help Nippon, but they did help defend Nippon's homeland from attack as they rebuilt their forces.

Tragically the famous general Jin Hwang (age 70) and his second in command Lu Chun Li (age 58) both died in a freak storm when struck by lighting, leaving their troops leaderless in Tsainan before they could react to the Nippon invasion of Korea.

The Hu Empire

Buddhist | Civilized | Tech 4
Hu Xi, King of the Hu, Son of Heaven, Protector of the Enlightened, Emperor of the Middle Kingdom, Lord of Golden Dragon, Father of the Han
Diplomacy: Sagaing [PT], Kayah [PT], city of Isanapura [PT], city of Kshatriyapura [PT], Wuliang [PT], Dai Viet [PT], city of Durgapura [PT], Mison [PT], city of Indrapura [PT],
Imperialism: Mass Conscripted(borrowed from internal bank), built royal road, and trained about 30,000 assorted troops, sent large shipment of Gold to Pirates.

Upon returning to Chang'ling from the mountains Emperor Hu Xi summoned his ministers and generals to him and said, "While in the mountains of Pat'ang mourning my beloved wife and cherished daughters our royal self had an epiphany, While events in India Champa and Japan seem to indicate that Ameratsu isn't an Avatar of Kali, how the barbarians travel along the wrong path to enlightenment is not our concern, and whether or not Ameratsu is an Avatar of Kali is indeed true is an irrelevant fact. What is relevant is that instead of honoring the two hundred years of friendship that had existed between Hu and Champa, using their newfound influence with the Japanese to bring them to the peace table, they chose to betray that friendship, using their honeyed and cloying words and thus they aided and abetted the unprovoked attack on Korea and deflecting China's righteous retribution on the Villainous Japanese. As such they have thrown their lot in with the Japanese and as such should suffer the same fate as the Japanese no matter what the cost. As such the treaty of Angor will be dispensed with and now TO WAR my faithful servants." Thus ended two-hundred years of Peace between Hu and Champa...

The The Hu vs Champa War [746 - ?]

The Champa army of 55,000 troops marched north with the Emperor Jayavarman III and his Heir in command. They arrived in Annam and were in the process of liberating it from the rebel when disaster struck. The oversized Hu army of 150,000 troops marched south into Annam with the Heir Hu Xiang, a Prince, and a Leader in command to help the Tonkins. But the Hu were not expecting the Champa Army to already be there, and were not ready to attack them. This allowed the Champa Army time to switch to a defensive posture for all the good that it did them. The first round of battle was a stalemate even although the Hu outnumbered the Champa three to one, unfortunately the Champa Emperor was captured by the Hu and Champa Heir Tri Indravarman had trouble commanding his army by himself. Thus in the next round the Hu attackers wins the field and the Champa defenders are destroyed.

Meanwhile a Small Hu army of about 30,000 commanded by Guo Hong sweeps down into Kayah easily taking the lightly defended regions and the city of Isanapura falls before him.

The Champa Heir Tri Indravarman escaped and hightail it back to his homeland, gathering as many garrisons as he could on the way in order to make a last stand there. The Hu tide of about 100,000 troops flows down the coast with only the Heir Hu Xiang, and a Prince in command to face a measly 9,000 Champa troops arranged in 20 field forts led by Champa Heir Tri Indravarman. The Hu Heir ordered Emperor Tri Jayaavarman II executed and had his head tossed at the feet of the Champa defenders sitting in their homeland. Whether divine intervention or dumb luck in the first moments of battle the Hu Heir was killed, and the Prince was wounded, and amazingly the attackers are routed, incredibly the defenders stood firm against overwhelming odds. The Hu attackers retreated back into Mison and did not return. In the region of Champa there was much rejoicing and the battle will go down in history as "The 9,000" outnumbered 11 to 1 Champa Army withstood the mighty Hu Army and saved their homeland, and nation from destruction. "The 9,000" that survived were celebrated as heroes throughout what remained of the Champa Empire...

The Imperial Realm of Ceylon

Heretical Hinduism | Civilized | Tech 4
King Tushtar
Diplomacy:
Imperialism: Built 54 ships over half of them HT, expanded a city, and built PWBs for a region.

King Tushtar did some IMA during his rule, while one of his leaders helped administer to the country's needs. At the same time his brave Heir Tushtar II stood ready with his glorious army to swiftly and unmercifully react to any hostiles from within or without. Another leader in Bindu was found dead and the valuable greenstone gem was stolen.

ghada [n/e],Diplomacy: Andaman Islands [f], T'ung'pu [c, claimed dot], Tibet [c], city of Chittagomg [f], city of Pukujujarti [f], Maghada [n/e], Tzukan [-fa],
Imperialism: Colonized Andaman Islands (1/5), rebuilt cities of Chittagomg and Pukujujarti, expanded city, built PWBs for 3 regions and trained about 20,000 assorted troops.

New Emperor Harsha stated that the royal family along with the rest of the country would convert to Saurian Hinduism. Because the tsunami that only hit the Kali regions was seen as a divine sign to do so. Even though the Sauras Holy City is situated in Champa, the system of Saurian religious sites in Palas is very significant and most of the populace seems to have been converted already. Meanwhile the islands of Andaman that were formerly under the control of Sirivijayan before the tsunami were colonized by Empire, it wasn't known if it was with or without the Sirivijayan's permission.

The Rajput Empire

Emperor Birju upon hearing rumors of a Golden Horde set about fortifying the borders of the Empire that had been allowed to degenerate during his predecessor's rule. City walls and fortress were fortified and two new fortresses were built to help in the Empire's defense. The Emperor sent orders to regional garrisons for them to fall back into field forts and fortress if invaded and not to face the horde in the open without reinforcements. Sadly news was received that Prince Bahuvata was robbed and killed in Nabhatumi (and it was later reveled that a Kali dagger was found in his back), he was the second to die in diplomatic talks there...

Emperor Moltke
Diplomacy: Dzungaria [c], Balkash [t], Kashgar [n/e],
Imperialism: Built PWBs for 3 cities, trained 6,800 heavy cavalry, and built a few field forts in a region

Emperor Moltke again ruled and fathered some more heirs even as he suffered from poor health from heavy drinking and rich food; speaking of Heirs he promoted his oldest son to be one when he came of age. Again one of his Princes continued to help administer to the Empire needs as the Emperor was so fat he could barely walk. Strange news arrived that a leader on a diplomatic mission to Kashgar disappeared off the face of the earth as soon as he entered Kashgar and never returned.

Diplomacy: Baluch [aw], city of Sukkur [-un, sacked],
Imperialism: Colonized Baluchistan (2/7), built regional fortress in Baluchistan and Kash (+ additional walls), PWBs in a region, and trained 3,800 assorted troops.

The supreme and ever vigilant (and you can now add ruthless) Shah Ahmorad II ruled while his Heir administered to the Empire's needs. The Shah became so convinced that the Empire's city of Sukkur was infested by a SE that drastic measures needed to be taken. He sent the nation's greatest military mind (named Lord Kami) of the past generation with troops and secret orders to Sukkur. Once there Lord Kami opened his orders and his jaw hit the ground, for he was to loot and burn to the ground his own city!!! The region of Baluch revolted in outrage over the destruction of its city.

Imperialism: Rebuilt city of Ma'rib, expanded 2 cities, built new Library in Sana, and 24xw in Sana.

Sultan Ibrahim died during the sack of Tur in Sinai in 749 and it went downhill from there. He was succeeded by his Heir Faruk, who died an untimely death in 750. Prince Sombi revolted when Faruk was crowned. The Prince captured the capital and killed Sultan Faruk, Leader Melak, and leader Davut. Prince Sombi was celebrating his victory when killed by the Assassin Ops, Prince Kurav became Sultan as he was next in line and he made his brother Orvad his heir. In the chaos of it all a few regions revolted and the new Sultan was too busy holding together what was left to do much about it. Clueless of the chaos, and following the last orders of Sultan Ibrahim, the new National Adenese Library had the stuffed carcass of the sea serpent (at last!) mounted and displayed on a mezzanine overlooking the main reading room (it was quite impressive and a shame the Sultan didn't live to see it).

Imperialism: Rebuilt city of Agoruvix, and city of Nicosia, built PWBs for Island and region, and trained 8,000mounted bowmen.

Emperor Merakh as vigilant as ever (with help from his Heir), was fully prepared to intercept any hostile forces with their sizeable army. He also sent leaders and troops to help the WRE, which were transported by an Egyptian fleet whose mission was to blockade Naples. Embarrassingly the Egyptian fleet failed to block the WRE Rebels fleet and to make matters worse it never returned home to port (It had only one leader named Bishop Pretesh for the return trip and that was very strange, for at least part of it should have returned if the Bishop had died). Meanwhile Prince Davinion died in Levant without a mark on him just a wide glassy smile on his face, leaving his troops leaderless.

The Order of the Theban Legion

Coptic Christian | Civilized | Tech 5
Master Octavious died in 745, Cassius next Master
Diplomacy: city of Tur [-un], Darfur [op], Mansura [oe],
Imperialism: Raised 14,000 mixed troops in Egypt.

Theban Master Octavious was a better diplomat than a warrior; so he sent a message to the Rebel Prince Ludicrous of the WRE along the lines of "Although we do not approve of his actions against the government of the WRE, we will defend his lands as any other Coptic land from any foreign threat. We encourage him to settle his differences with the crown of the WRE, but we will not take arms for or against him in this conflict. Thus troops were sent by land and sea to defend Languedoc, but both got there too late to be of any help. The troops by land never made it to Languedoc, they ran into the combined St.George / Lombard army in Provence and outmatched by Army size and generalship, were quickly overwhelmed and forced to retreat back into Liguria. By Sea they found Languedoc already in Lombard hands and made for the port of Genoa.

The The Campaign against the Wadai Horde [741- ?]

The Axum and Theban combine army laid in wait in Sennar to pounce on the Wadai Horde. But the Horde's plans of conquest were ruined again when Theban Assassins struck and wounded the Horde Lord for a second time, while Axum Assassins wounded his Heir yet again. To make matters worse a cause mutiny by the Axums caused about 12,000 of his troops to desert. Consequently the attack into Axum was abandoned and the Horde withdrew to Ankolye to use the trade center to rebuild, then they returned home to the region of Wadai to lick its wounds and think about what to do next...

Patriarch James issued no instructions again and remained barricaded within his chambers, repeating over and over that it was coming, and the end was near. Eventually he died of starvation in 746. Two bishops also died of what was largely believed to be boredom if not for their wide glassy smiles. In 747 a council of bishops elected Paul to become the next Patriarch.

The Kingdom of Sicily

Heretic Christian | Seafaring | Tech 4
King Sarantino Gelan III
Diplomacy:
Imperialism: Colonized Sardinia, built 20 ships, half of them warships, trained 1,800 mixed troops.

King Sarantino Gelan III ruled, IMA, and HCed, as he sought to booster trade. In addition he promoted his son to Heir when he came of age. Out of the blue an earthquake suddenly stuck (many thought to be an aftershock of the Ulania earthquake) and destroyed half of the Capital. The royal family miraculous escaped harm when a wall of the royal palace collapsed.

Imperialism: Built 6 heavy warships, and trained 400 topnotch Siege engineers, and built a single PWB for a city.

Grandmaster Joshua didn't fancy becoming Coptic so he accept the ERE's offer to locate within its Empire. In return he transferred control of Pechneg over to the ERE. He personally supervised the move of the Order's fortress to Thesssalmili piece by piece, stone by stone.

Empire of Kanem

Coptic Christian | Civilized | Tech 4
Emperor Djibuti II
Diplomacy: Bilma [P] (oasis) Ghat-al-barkat [P], Ghadames [P], City of Tripoli [T], Gefara [NT] (shared with Egypt), Kanuri [F], Kreda [P], Salamat [NT],
Imperialism: Built new port cities of Dakan in Gorouol, Daji in Segu, removed all city walls, expanded 5 cities, colonized Kanuri (1/6), built Royal road from Nupe to Kafin border, and trained 1,800 inexperienced infantry, but demobilized 1,000 infantry. Gained BL.

Emperor Djibuti II gathered some troops then he journeyed to region of Salamat to ask the region to join the Empire, the outcome was some minor ties were made. Whilst there, on hearing from his scouts that the Horde had returned to Wadai, he was so surprised that he almost had a heart attack. He quickly withdrew with his army to Kreda to franticly set up some kind of defense. In hindsight it seemed like a poor decision to remove the walls from all of his Empire's cities and demobilize some troops. Back in the homeland the Kanem government returned all BL support back to Coptic Church; afterwards it gained one of its own.

Akan, the Lords of the Gold Coast

Coptic Christian | Civilized | Tech 4
King Kwaku
Diplomacy: Kafib [A], Gurma [F], Douala [N/E]
Imperialism: Kwararafa is cultivated, colonized Gurma, (2/4), Niete (2/5), built a bridge from Ife to Benin, 56HT for MSP and royal road from Kafin to Nupe border.

King Kwaku was concerned about the return of the Horde to the region, but not as concerned as the Emperor of Kanem. Otherwise he was happy with a new road to trade with Kanem (and to maybe send some troops to help against the Horde). He ruled uneventfully with help from his Heir administering. Elsewhere a worthless leader died in Kafin with a huge glassy smile on his face and a lot of empty cups were found around him. Another leader was on a diplomatic mission in Douala when he was found dead hanging from a tree with his entrails on the ground underneath him (it looked like they were used to read the future and a old wise in Douala said it foretold a breadbasket filled with sand). Intel reports received by the King about SEs were sadly lacking any solid proof of any SEs existence on the Gold Coast.

The Empire of Axum

Coptic Christian | Civilized | Tech 5
Emperor Kosha
Diplomacy: Ankolye [-UN], Darfur [a],
Imperialism: Cultivated Kosti, built regional fortress in region of Axum, colonized Sennar (2/3), built field forts in 5 regions, PWBs in a region, and trained about 9,000 assorted troops.

New Emperor Kosha set up a direct defense of the homeland with his army. He sent his Heir and another army to try and get the Thebans to work together with his "inferior" troops, or to at least get on the same page. After impressing the Thebans with his military knowledge, the Thebans begrudgingly began to work with the Axum Heir on the preparations for a defense against the Horde. While the Horde never came, some troubles did: a leader died of heart failure, another of old age and also the royal spy disappeared in the capital (body never found).

Meanwhile relations were improved with Zimbabwe when Zimbabwean Princess Dileledi married Crown Prince Balraj by proxy as he was off preparing to save the country from the Horde. King Shaka Zulu kept up the aggressive expansion of his country. He ordered that three impis march from the land of the Zulu. To the west the Impi of Akbar, supported by allied Namaqua contingents, rounded up the inhabitants of Uige - replacing them with Zulus. The impi of Shaka Zulu meted out the same fate to the inhabitants of Mapungubwe. The impi of Prince Induma marched east to perform the same actions in Phalaborwa. The slaves were used to help in the fields of Cape and Transkei.

Celtic Christian | Civilized | Tech 5
Emperor Octavious, defender of the Britain, light of the West, guardian of civilization
Diplomacy: Champagne [F], Hainant [F],
Imperialism: Colonized Dumnonia (2/5), finished cultivation of Lothian, built PWBs for two regions, 6 XE warships, field forts for two regions, and trained 20,000 assorted troops.

Emperor Octavious expanded his military then he and his army assaulted a SE lair in London, captives were taken, but all died within minutes of capture (their faces turned a bright blue). Intel attempt to trance the sites connected to London but all trails lead to the sea. In the meantime the Heir took some ships and went on a quest to search for an uncharted island in the mists west of the Celtic Sea but found nothing (He must have misread Princess Juli's report about an uncharted island off the Irish Sea...). Elsewhere during a harsh winter Bishop Canterbury died at age 64, and the Celtic Church sent a replacement.

The Celtic Church

Imperialism: Colonized Dyffed (2/6), Highlands (2/7).

Pope Peter was mortified at the Church's continuing difficulties in establishing new sites as over half of them failed. It didn't help when a bishop died in the middle of his orders as Bishop Mark did when he tried to cross the Elbe River, he boat capsized and he drowned (even although he was a good swimmer). Otherwise Pope Peter was instrumental in getting the Goths to convert to Celtic Christian. King Norwulf hoped that his new rule would be better than his brother's. To resume trade to the West, he ordered the city of Riga rebuilt. He even ordered a new port city built in the Baltic so trade wouldn't be disrupted again in the future. Meanwhile a leader named Georgi in Dvinisk without any orders got himself raging drunk and fell from the fortress and died, leaving his troops leaderless. But the conversion didn't go smoothly as planned, even although the Celtic Primate was in the capital helping things along. Two regions and a city revolted! The Lombard March of Ispan

Celtic Christian | Civilized | Tech 4
Alejandro, Mark of Ispan, Bretwalda of the Lombards,
Diplomacy: Languedoc [p], Provence [p], Catalonia [+12yfc]
Imperialism: Trained about 16,000 cavalry.

Alejandro the Mark of Ispan commanded that the dogs of war be unleashed and together with St.George they would invaded the WRE while it was embroiled in its civil war. To command the strike force he sent a military genius named Juarez with another leader. The objective was to march to the eastern end of Provence and hold it against any counter attacks from the WRE, with the help of battle assistance provided with from Intel.

The THE WAR IN SOUTHERN FRANCE (and Italy) [746- ?]

Battle 1) The WRE and Egyptian armies captured Campania and Naples, but the Rebel leader broke through the blockage of Naples and fled to Corsica where he unexpectedly died and his son proclaimed himself king of the small island (he also offered to return to the WRE fold if forgiven and made a prince).

Battle 2) At the same time St.George and the Lombards attacked into Languedoc and wiped out a small WRE force.

Battle 3) The Thebans rushed up from southern Italy and ran smack into St.George and the Lombards in Provence and were badly beaten and forced back into Liguria, while another smaller Theban force was rushed by sea to Languedoc only to find it in enemy hands, so they withdrew to Genoa.

Battle 4) Around this time Armorica attacked into Burgundy, a brutal battle was fought to a stalemate and both sides withdrew to regroup. Both side lost about the same, but the Armoricas had one leader killed and another captured by the WRE, and the new Amorica Emperor Tristan's pride would not let him fail thus he vow to take Burgundy and free his leader.

Battle 5) The second battle for Burgundy started off good for the Armoricas until an arrow caught Emperor Tristan in the eye instantly killing him, his leaderless army was routed and driven back into Orleans. Then the St.George army split from the Lombards in Provence and headed north.

Battle 6) They easily took over a lightly defended Lyonnais and then they poured into Burgundy and rained Greek Fire down on the battle weary troops of the WRE, which were no match for St.George and were slaughtered.

Grandmaster Petros was the greatest military mind the world has ever seen (with the help of a little Greek fire). The battle plan was simple yet elegant, joined with the Lombards they would smash everything together until they reached Provence, then St.George army would peel off and head north to capture Burgundy and its city. Everything went according to plan; the only downside was that with all those captured lands was that it caused the Order to have a bad case of thin government.

Back in the Capital his lovely wife Isolde became Regent until the young Tristan II comes of age.

Finally, word of the death from across the sea, the Black Plague, spread throughout the nation. This news brought fear to all, be they be noble or commoner. From the stories of this illness, none were safe. (Luckily the outbreak was small compared to what happened out West.)
