EAST CONORRIA

Our flag reflects our Conorrian Empire heritage

In 2910, following the death of both the Conorrian Emperor and his heir, the mighty Conorrian Empire was sundered into four fragments. Senator Draximus, aka "The Founder", finding himself in the eastern portion of the Empire, realized he must act swiftly to prevent chaos. He brilliantly organized the regions of Kylades, Baetulo, Sexaginta, Borophoros and Autricum into the new entity of East Conorria, with the walled city of Adamos as its capital.

Wisely wishing to avoid Conorrian vs. Conorrian warfare which would only profit the murderous followers of the psychopathic Dark Court, in 2911 far-sighted Draximus made peace with Thandoros, ruler of the central portion of Conorria. Draximus took the title of Imperator Secundus, nominally subordinate to Thandoros, henceforth Imperator Primus. To affirm the alliance, Draximus granted his daughter, Honoria, to be wife of Thandoros.

In 2920 the Order of the Dawn, defenders of the Grail, was forced by unknown Powers to disband. Benevolent Draximus granted them lands within East Conorria, rewarding them for their piety whilst much increasing the strength and wealth of his domain.

From 2922 onward East Conorrian forces stood ready to help their allies of Dhunazhar. Besides light cavalry that could easily move in the hills and mountains of that dwarven kingdom, there were also Eagle Riders - highly trained warriors mounted on fierce raptor avians - historically the eyes of Conorrian armies. In 2928 an Eastern force fought to the death alongside the dwarves in the Great Battle of Gimmilzar against overwhelming numbers of brutish hobgoblins spawned in the foul realm of Carhallas.

Draximus died in 2930, and since his son Calixtus had predeceased him, daughter-in-law Prudentia ascended the throne. She selflessly manages the Affairs of State whilst advising the royal princes and raising her fatherless children.

Prudentia has brought Kildaruensis (2931) and Neander (2935) into the enlightened East Conorrian sphere of influence. She has also supervised the upgrading of roads in the Autricum to improve trade and ease of movement.

Only the Gods know what the future holds for East Conorria, but its people will face it with swords in hand and the righteous fire of the Grail in their heart!
